Woodgreen Village Hall Open Day
Heritage Open Day: The internal walls of the village hall are covered in murals painted by two artists in 1932/33 depicting village life at that time and featuring local residents going about their everyday work and recreation. The murals are listed. These unique murals were painted in 1932/33 by two artists - Robert Baker and Edward Payne. This work was commissioned by a local resident and funded with a grant from the Carnegie Trust.
