Rutter Magnificat, Lauridsen Lux Aeterna

The concert introduces Jeremy Cole as the Society's conductor with a programme of joyous and moving choral and instrumental music. He will be conducting The English Chamber Orchestra, one of the worlds' leading chamber orchestras. Alongside the choral works listed above he will be conducting Arvo Part's Cantus in Memoriam Benjamin Britten. The soloist in the choral works is the soprano Elizabeth Atherton.
