HerStory: Women of Goodwood Exhibition Launch
The Duke of Richmond is thrilled to announce the launch of Goodwood House’s 2024 exhibition, HerStory: Women of Goodwood, with a Champagne and canape reception in the State Apartments of Goodwood House on Thursday 2 May at 6.30pm.
The exhibition places a spotlight on the women connected with Goodwood and the Gordon Lennox family, whose stories tell of passion, power, patronage, society, family, charitable work, and sporting interests.
Exhibition highlights include dresses loaned by the Fashion Museum and artworks by Angelica Kauffman and Sir Joshua Reynolds.
The launch is an opportunity to enjoy the exhibition before it opens to the public, hear an introduction by The Duke of Richmond and Goodwood’s Curator, Clementine de la Poer Beresford, as well as take in the splendour of the State Rooms. It promises to be a memorable evening, and one not to miss!
