South West Chamber Choir: Songs of Love and Nature
Concert by Plymouth-based South West Chamber Choir, directed by Stephen Trahair, which has an extensive repertoire of small-scale choral music, secular and sacred, from the Renaissance to the present day.
This wide-ranging programme will guide the audience through seasonal choral song cycles. In the first half of the concert, we perform Brahms’ famous “Liebeslieder Walzer” – sung in German with piano duet accompaniment provided by Dr Sean Sweeney and Gay Jones.
