December 11th 300 years of Christmas shows at ROH Covent Garden with Sarah Lenton
The London Christmas season was invented 300 years ago at Covent Garden. Although “Panto” has moved to the Palladium, the basic components of principal boy, fairy tales and the dame are still seen in the seasonal operas and ballets at the Royal Opera House.
