Photography exhibition at the Fox Talbot Museum by Maggie Taylor
Artist Maggie Taylor returns to Lacock this summer with Through the Looking Glass. Using her point and click camera, flatbed scanners and Photoshop, she creates digital art that transports viewers into dreamlike worlds. Inspired in part by Lewis Carroll's classic Alice in Wonderland, Taylors use of antique nineteenth-century photographic sources including anonymous daguerreotypes and tintypes imbues her imagery with a Victorian character appropriate to the setting of Carrolls narrative. Discover links to Lacock Abbey through these images, on display in our Photographic gallery from Saturday 20 July until Sunday 3 November. Booking Not Needed.
