Skilful Saxons – make a tile from air-drying clay and then draw on Saxon patterns inspired by those found on Saxon pottery. Then go and see the museum’s Saxon pots on display in the permanent exhibition. As part of the Festival of Archaeology 2020, we have a free Archaeology trail.
