Do As I Say Not As I Did: Reflections of an Imperfect Genealogist
Looking back over her journey in family history, Sue Swalwell has concluded that she is indeed an Imperfect Genealogist.
In this one-hour talk Sue shares some of the mistakes she has made on that journey and reflects on the causes of those mistakes. Sue also offers some tips on how to be a better genealogist - even if she still is not a perfect one.
There are no special entry requirements for this talk and you do not need to be a Member of the Society of Genealogists to attend. However, this talk is specifically for people who are searching for their ancestors and are eager to understand the best ways of doing it. Expect a friendly atmosphere, an expert speaker and lots of detail.
This one-hour live Zoom course runs from 14.00 to 15.00 UK time. The cost is £10.00. For Members of the Society of Genealogists, a discounted price of £5.00 is available. On 17 February an email invitation will be sent to all who have booked which includes a password and link to the talk - remember to check your spam folder! Please ensure you use the same zoom user name that you used at booking, to login to the talk on the day.
