Dianne Rickard, ‘A Celebration of her work’. Dianne was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease on 7th February 2018 and lost the battle against the disease on 24th August 2018. She loved “doing” things with her hands, crochet, embroidery, knitting, sewing, gardening and of course painting. After her mothers’ death in 2011, she suddenly realised that she had 84 hours a week spare and so she took up painting as a hobby and attended classes in Glanamman and later in Carmel under the watchful eye of Su
