Monastery Garden at Prinknash Abbey - Open Garden for NGS
An unusual, circular walled garden undergoing restoration and now managed mainly by volunteers from Stroud Valleys Project. Features incl vegetable garden, orchard with mature mulberry trees, apple and pear arches, lily pond, beehives and uncultivated areas to attract wildlife. Butterfly nectar garden with colourful herbaceous borders and wildflower areas managed by Butterfly Conservation.
Wed 9 Sept (11-5). Admission £4, Children free. Light refreshments in the Café/Gift Shop. Home-made lunches, teas and cakes. Times:11:00 to 17:00. Open for charity.
