Broxwood Court - Open Garden for NGS
Stunning 29 acre garden and arboretum, designed in 1859 by W. Nesfield for great-grandfather of present owner. Magnificent yew hedges and km long avenue of cedars and Scots pines. Spectacular view of Black Mountains, sweeping lawns, rhododendrons, gentle walks to summer house, chapel and ponds. Rose garden, mixed borders, rill, gazebo and fountain. Peacocks and white doves.
Sun 28 June (2-5.30). Admission £5, Children free. Home-made teas. Also open Rhodds Farm. Times:14:00 to 17:30. Open for charity.
