88 Brook Street - Open Garden for NGS
The ½ acre garden is set on a hillside, which provides lovely views across the village, and comprises 3 distinct areas: firstly, a cottage style garden; then a series of water features incl a stream and a 'champagne' pond; and finally at the top there is a vegetable plot, small orchard and wildflower meadow. The ponds attract great crested and common newts, frogs, toads and grass snakes.
Sat 30, Sun 31 May (2-5). Combined adm with 109 Brook Street £5, Children free. Home-made teas at 109 Brook Street. Times:14:00 to 17:00. Visits also by arrangement May & June for groups of 10 to 30. Admission to 88 Brook Street only will be £3, or £5 including tea and cakes.. Open for charity.
