Bushcraft Fundamentals Day
Immerse your self in something different. This fun and informative 1 day course is based on the core principles of survival: fire, food, shelter and water.
You will cover a range of Bushcraft skills including; Collection and filtration of water, various methods of fire lighting including the fire bow, the safe use of knives, axes and saws, green wood carving to make your very own spoon, shelter building and the preparation and cooking of a whole Rainbow Trout.
This course includes a trout lunch, roast potatoes and garlic bread lunch all cooked over the fire and brews throughout the day plus your very own specialist bushcraft knife to take home.
The venue for the course is on a beautiful private country estate and takes place in a stunning oak woodland, with views of the surrounding mountains and out to the Duddon estuary. There is a central area covered with a large parachute so you can stay dry whatever the weather.
9.30am - 4.30pm
£75 pp includes lunch and free Bushcraft knife.
