HPS Talk: ‘Plants from the Himalayas – for the love of blue poppies’
Marion Stainton, Horticultural consultant and writer will describe the historical introduction of many very familiar plants, and tell us more about those who collected them and the influence they have had on garden styles. She will also look at why many plants from the Himalayas have been so popular and why it was a very popular place for plant hunters to go, despite the difficulties they encountered.
