Robert Burns

Alec Ross, owner of a local farm supply company and writer, will be returning to his favourite subject at Wigtownshire U3A’s monthly meeting talk on Friday 31st January. Hot on the heels of Burns Night, his presentation will expand on the international influence of Robert (Rabbie) Burns who was born to tenant farmers in Alloway on 25th January, and died at the tender age of 37 in 1796 in Dumfries.
