The European Tour in Baroque Music and Dance
Travel through the theatres, ballrooms, salons and concert halls of early Eighteenth Century Europe, from the opera house of Paris, to the sophisticated homes of the English aristocracy, to the feisty salons of Spain. Apollo's Revels entertain with rustic shepherdesses, elegant courtly dances, and a foot-stamping Follia, with music by Corrette, de la Barre and Marais.
