Lee Miller’s War: Witnessing Women
A dramatised presentation set to a continuous stream of images.
Lee Miller and her Rollieflex camera were witness to the events of WWII, the battles and the lives destroyed, ensuring that the horror will never be forgotten. Whilst recording the wartime events she captured womens' roles in image and word from fashion to the work of the WRNS, concentration camp victims to nurses and many more. Her story and that of the women she encountered, is told through Miller's own images presented by her son Antony Penrose and Miller's words spoken by her granddaughter Ami Bouhassane.
