The Eric Brown display provides an insight into the early life and military career of a remarkable Fleet Air Arm pilot, Captain Eric Brown who was given the nickname Winkle due to his short stature. He was the most decorated pilot in the history of the Royal Navy, and, as a test pilot, flew 487 types of aircraft, more than anyone else in history.
