The Medieval Spalding Project (1050 - 1550)
A talk presented by Dr Michael Gilbert who has been working with members of the Spalding University of the Third Age and other local groups to carry out research that explores the landscape, social and economic history of the Town and the role of the Priory in Medieval times. Research has included valuable local resources such as the Myntling Register and the Grundy Map in the care of the Spalding Gentlemen's Society.
The outcome was the Guide to Medieval Spalding in Autumn 2019.
