Work Hard, Play Harder - Half Term @ Pit

This February Half Term at the National Coal Mining Museum, we’re celebrating 100 years of Miners’ Welfare with all sorts of mining themed activities to keep the entire family entertained! Get creative and design and make your own bar of soap (£5 pre-bookable), build a Miniature Miners’ Magnificent Playground, journey back in time with our living history characters, take part in traditional games across the site and tons more!
