On the evening of Friday 4th July at 7:30pm the Martlesham Heath Aviation Society welcomes Graham Murchie, from the Bawdsey Radar Trust, telling us about the events, people and technology that led to RAF Bawdsey becoming the world’s first operational radar station during World War 2 – and its continuing use post war”.
Our monthly meetings usually take place at The Martlesham Heath Community Centre, old Felixstowe Road, Martlesham Heath IP12 4PB
Members pay £3, non-members are also welcomed - paying £5. You can join the Society on the night if you wish. Just turn up and pay at the Door. Parking behind the Hall is plentiful and easy

On the Evening of Wednesday 13th August - we visit The Great War Huts amazing site , at Harkstead south of Bury St Edmunds.
Entry is £5 for non-members, £3 for non-members. No need to book – just turn up
