On Leap Year Day, Saturday 29th February, the Swansea Astronomical Society are hosting the latest National Botanic Garden of Wales ‘Star Party’ from 6pm to 9pm. This is your chance to take a leap into the outer reaches of the Solar System and beyond and, given clear skies, an excellent chance to view the Moon and Venus. Dr Simon Helan will be giving a talk on ‘Asteroids’ and there will be the usual hot drinks and other delights in the Med café in the Great Glasshouse. As usual, we will operat
