Brownsea Island - VE Day 75 - A shared Moment of Celebration special weekend
On this special bank holiday weekend, Brownsea goes vintage on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 May in celebration of the end of WW2. Step back in time as we remember victory for Europe in 1945. You'll be clocked in as you step off the boat and experience reenactors milling about the island. They'll be a wartime band playing in the caf garden and a 'Nation's toast to the Heroes of WW2' at 3pm on the Friday afternoon. Booking Not Needed.
A National Trust Event - Start 10:00. End 17:00. Free Event but Normal Admission Charges Apply. Check website for latest information.
