The Needles Old Battery and New Battery - Second World War at the Battery
This spring, discover the role the Battery played during the Second World War on short, guided tours each Thursday at the Battery. To mark 75 years since VE Day, we'll be running guided tours, with talks and presentations, around the Battery to help you discover the important role it played and the effect of the war on the Isle of Wight. Booking Not Needed. Great for adults but suitable for all the famiily.
