Cwm Mynach - In the Pawprints of Pine Martens (Barmouth Walking Festival)

Join the Woodland Trust and Vincent Wildlife Trust volunteer Matthew Davies to discover the wildlife secrets of this secluded valley and learn about its past and future. Duration: 4-5 hours Distance: 8-9 km / 5-6 miles Booking: https://barmouthwalkingfestival.co.uk/how-to-book/ Grading: Moderate Moderate: some gentle slopes and uneven ground, mainly on forestry tracks, starting at 450ft above sea level and rising gently to nearly 1100ft with views of Rhinog Mountains and Cader Idris. Plenty of breaks will be taken. Any other information you wish to note: Dogs and children aged 8 and above welcome if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Dogs on lead when requested. There are no toilets on site - nearest public toilets are at Penmaenpwll via toll bridge or in Dolgellau and Barmouth. Please bring drinks and lunch, wear strong shoes or boots and bring waterproof clothing.
