Newbury Choral Society and the London Ulysses Orchestra present two choral works by Joseph Haydn and a symphony by Haydn’s friend and protégé, Mozart.
Haydn returned to Vienna from London in 1795 in triumph as a composer of symphonies and string quartets. He then turned to the composition of vocal and choral works, including the Te Deum for the Empress Marie Therese.
