St Margaret’s Hospice Open Gardens – North & South Hacketty, Porlock
On Sunday 28th June 2020 two private gardens in Porlock will be open to the public on behalf of St Margaret’s Hospice, they are:
• North Hacketty, Porlock, Somerset TA24 8HZ
• South Hacketty, Porlock, Somerset TA24 8HZ.
North Hacketty - North Hacketty is one wing of a 100 year old hunting lodge, with stunning views of Exmoor, Porlock, the Bristol Channel and Wales. The garden contains a gazebo, walled rose garden and rockery, and a number of stone walled terraces, containing a variety of plants from Australia and South Africa.
South Hacketty - Forming a third of the original hunting lodge, the tranquil garden has spectacular views of Moor and Sea. The garden offers a mix of formal and informal planting, comprising of a gravel garden, main lawn and lower garden with a pond and bandstand.
