Art House Leicester
Art House has 13 houses over a wider area opening their doors this year and 4 of these are new venues which will add interest for our regular visitors and provide more space for the 70 artists exhibiting and selling their original works. We retain our motto of ‘extraordinary art in ordinary houses’ but none of these houses are ordinary. The trail threads it way into properties of totally different architectural styles that are in themselves of interest, along with some delightful gardens. Once again the art on display covers a wide variety of media including paintings, prints, glass, wood, ceramics , textiles and jewellery. A free hopper bus operates on Saturday and Sunday and we have three refreshment stops; homemade cakes and drinks at Tart House, traditional Asian snacks at Binary Bytes and our local gelato producer from Gelato Village. I
