Make Your Home in Welwyn including Charles Paine, at Mill Green Museum

In this exhibition in Gallery 1, we will be looking at the way in which Welwyn Garden City was advertised to encourage people to move, particularly from London, to the newly created town. It will centre on the ‘Four Seasons’ posters, produced by Charles Paine and once displayed in the London Underground, as well as looking at the importance of the railways in the promotion of Welwyn Garden City.
