Crafts in the Centre, Tuesdays at Saxon Hall
The Big Skill is proud to be part of the welcoming community at Saxon Hall, with our Tuesday activities starting again on the 8th September.
The Sculpture Project: Every Tuesday we will run two sessions, 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 pm. To 4 p.m. on How to Use Clay Modelling, Doodling and Notes to Work out Ideas for ‘Standing Up For Peace’ and ‘Remember And Rebuild’ Sculptures at Saxon Hall.
Crafts at Your Fingertips: Besides the sculpture project there will also be a number of other workshops taking place. On September 8th Annabel (tinkandesigns) will be running a recycled tin bug workshop; on Tuesday the 15th Ginn Downs (Made Do & Mend) will bring her vintage collection to share different seams and techniques; on the 22nd Sarah Adby will be running a willow workshop; on 29th Emma Bevan will be running a needle felting to make a mouse. Ginn will be back on 13th October; Bridget Morgan (Bridget’s Scrap Bags) will be making crafts from recycled textiles on 27th October and 10th November. 11 am-2.30 pm

Camera on the Community: This is your chance to participate in a new project, to put together a journal of what effect the virus has had on our community, and how we go forward. We will be at Saxon Hall every Tuesday to record your thoughts. If you can’t make it to the centre then the project can come to you and record your experience at arms’ length. email@example.com
