Paint pouring introduction workshop - Prestwood - Buckinghamshire
The course it is fun and informal and doesn't require prior knowledge about painting.
What is paint pouring?
Acrylic pouring is a painting technique where acrylic paint is mixed with a pouring medium and then poured onto a surface in a variety of ways. The surface is tilted in each direction to let the paint flow and the way the colours interact is unpredictable, yet always interesting.
During this workshop, you will be learning how to prepare the perfect mix for all your paint pouring projects.
We will be trying out 3 different techniques, Dutch poor/ dirty poor, swipe and blowing.
Please make sure that you are wearing comfortable clothing and shoes.
For practical reasons, we will be providing you with an apron, but paint can still splash your garments, please make sure that you are not wearing your best clothes!

2 small canvases
A large choice of paints
Cups & paint brushes
The course also includes:
A light lunch.
Tea, coffee and biscuits.
Refreshment throughout the day.
Free parking is available at the venue.
At the end of the day your masterpieces will not be dry. We will be providing you with take away boxes for you to be able to carry your work safely home.
