DANCE NOW | ACT UP | SING OUT are three fully inclusive groups run by Trestle Theatre Company, a charity that works with local communities to inspire creativity through participation.
DANCE NOW
“Dance is the hidden language of the soul” — MARTHA GRAHAM
Integrated Dance Group | Mondays, 1 pm – 2 pm | 16+
Dance Now is a dance session that encourages movement of all types, for all abilities.
In each session, we will introduce and explore different dance techniques and styles from all over the globe. No experience is necessary just the desire to dance.
ACT UP
“This will enable the people we support to increase confidence and making friends ... (and) provide a more inclusive environment for people that wouldn’t normally want to participate in a drama group” — CAMPHILL TRUST, WHO SUPPORT ADULTS WITH LEARNING DISABILITIES AND MENTAL HEALTH CONDITIONS
Integrated Drama Group | Tuesdays, 12pm – 1pm and 1.30pm - 2.30pm | 16+
Act Up is a drama session that uses playful theatre games and exercises to encourage those who may not usually want to perform to be part of creating and delivering a show.
SING OUT
“When I sing I feel happy. The song is in my brain and I keep singing it and I feel better” — SING OUT REGULAR PARTICIPANT
Integrated Choir | Thursdays, 1pm – 2pm | 16+
We believe that everybody can sing, so if you want to try then please come along. Everyone is welcome!
