Keeping the Lights On with Andrew Brewis

Keeping the Lights On is brought to you in support of The Cygnet Theatre, Exeter. It will be available to stream online from Andrew's website. ‘Admission’ is free, but this year has been hard on both performing artists and the venues they call home. You can do your bit towards keeping the lights on by making a donation.

I’m once again preparing to be almost live in your living room, with my new Youtube concert, Keeping The Lights On, recorded in front of a small but enthusiastic live audience this autumn. For my third ‘lockdown’ jazz concert, I’m celebrating the darkened playhouses of the West End and Broadway with a tribute to the legends of musical theatre, past and present.

I can’t promise any dance routines - but from the early days of Irving Berlin to the intimate charm of My Fair Lady and even the epic sweep of Phantom of the Opera, you can expect an evening of theatrical magic, all conjured by me and a beautiful Steinway grand piano.

I love this music, and I’ve been playing it all my life. This is a chance to see and hear me perform the classic Broadway songbook in a distinctly British style that I’ve honed over 30 years and four continents.

And from the best seats in the house, too — your house.
Available to stream from 7pm Friday 9th October to 10pm on Sunday 11th October
Admission is free, but there will be an option to donate
