Virtual Tour: Seven Dials and St Giles in London
Join Joe Studman for a tour of the historic London area around Seven Dials and St Giles. Wedged between Covent Garden, Bloomsbury and Soho, this area has played a part in much of London’s history.
Joe tells us about:
- How the area saw the birth of the great plague in 1665;
- The first leper hospital in Norman London;
- One of the worst rookeries of the Georgian and Victorian era.
Joe tells us lots of stories and shows how the area has survived and thrived.
There are no special entry requirements for this tour and you do not need to be a Member of the Society of Genealogists to join us. Expect a friendly atmosphere, an expert tour guide and lots of detail. There's an opportunity after the tour to ask Lester questions.
