Walworth Gardens - Open Garden for NGS
Even if you have visited before you will see our 4 gardens in a new setting as we open for the first time in the Spring. Quarry End is a 1.5 acre woodland garden developed over 20 years on the site of an ancient quarry. The woodland has hellebores, woodland geraniums, comfrey, cow parsley, celandine, and maybe bluebells by then. In the main garden see over 20 different aquilegias as well as flowering shrubs, a C18 Ice House and extensive views over south Durham. In contrast Castle Barn, The Dovecote and The Arches are less than 10 years old and offer a wonderful mix of garden treasures.
