Considering the care of your loved one? Local care home offers advice
On Wednesday 27th January, from 6.30pm-7.30pm, the Care UK team at Lonsdale Mews, on Farley Way, will host a free ‘How We Care’ online event.
The experienced Care UK team, including Home Manager Toby Sturgess, Deputy Manager Jo Davison and Customer Relations Manager Jenny Cartwright, will be on hand to deliver an informative session to help those considering care. They’ll be providing advice on identifying what to look for when choosing a home, the next steps to take and what day-to-day life is really like in a modern care home, including the care types and activities on offer, as well as the home’s facilities.
Toby Sturgess said: “Lonsdale Mews only opened recently, so we’re excited to host one of our first virtual events and meet the community. We understand that finding the right care home is a hugely important decision, so we’re offering a helping hand to those who need guidance.
“There are many common myths and misconceptions about care home life, and we’re hoping our virtual event will help to dispel them. We hope local people will take this opportunity to join us for an evening full of advice and tips.”
For anyone unsure about how to take part in the virtual event, help is at hand. The team at Lonsdale Mews will host the event using Zoom, an online meeting space. Simply call or email Customer Relations Manager, Jenny Cartwright, and she will send a link to join the event and share her tips to make the most out of the session.
