Genomics Lite: Series 3 Human Genetic Variation (Session 1)

Genomics Lite is a new programme of live webinars to inspire and engage upper secondary school students, from Wellcome Connecting Science (based on the Wellcome Genome Campus near Cambridge). The programme covers a new curriculum-linked topic every half term and will look at the topic in context of cutting-edge research, what techniques and equipment are used in the lab, what the big questions in the field are, and what career pathways scientists have taken. Webinars are accompanied by pre-and post-session resources to support learning in the classroom and at home.

This is SESSION 1 of 4. We'll be joined by Susan Fairley, and discussing what Human Genetic Variation is, what causes it and the legacy of the Human Genome Project.
