Battle Proms Picnic Concert at Hatfield House
A summer celebration with music, fireworks, Spitfire, cannons and cavalry!
The Battle Proms is the quintessential British ‘party in the park’ picnic concert, with sublime classical music from the 60-piece New English Concert Orchestra, complemented by
* Toe-tapping vintage vocals from The Battle Proms Belles
* Carefully choreographed Spitfire display by the iconic Grace Spitfire
* Breathtaking parachute display from The Red Devils, the British Army and Parachute Regiment's official display team
*Dramatic Cavalry and cannon displays
All culminating in a superb musical firework finale, The Battle Proms takes place at historic Hatfield House in the leafy Queen Elizabeth Oak Field. Legend has it has it that it was beneath one of the ancient oaks in this field that the young Queen Elizabeth I heard that she was to be Queen of England.
This summer Battle Proms Picnic Concerts celebrate their 25th anniversary, 5th year partnering SSAFA – the Armed Forces charity, over £500,000 raised for military charities, and their 21st annual concert at Hatfield House!
