Steam Railway & Land Rover Day
Welcome to ‘Wissington’ Hudswell Clarke no.1700. This will be the 0-6-0’s first day back with us and will be the main motive power for the rest of the year. Beyer Peacock No.1 will still be here today and both locos will be in steam. A great photo opportunity.
Coal wagon shunting demonstration will take place at Dovebrook on arrival of the 1pm train.
A Guided Tour with the Chairman at 12 noon and again at 1.30 pm.
Also welcome back to the Land Rover owners, who join us again to show off their examples of this truly British marque. All the usual suspects and, perhaps, some very rare beasts indeed like the Falkland Islands Fire & Rescue Service 6-wheeler that joined us last year.
Plus the Middy steam train rides, Museum, cafe, bar and Restoration Shed visits making this a memorable day out for families and enthusiasts alike.
Tickets are available from the web site or from the Ticket Office on the day.
Your ticket allows you entry to the site, it's facilities and unlimited steam train rides.
