Gwyl Glyn Cothi Festival - Arts, Crafts & Food
After a successful Gwyl Glyn Cothi Festival last year, we are happy to announce that our exciting (Free to enter) 2-day Festival to celebrate local Arts, Crafts and Food will return this year. Organised by local crafts people and artists and having received an initial set up grant from the Brechfa Wind Turbine Fund, we hope that this will be another great year for returning friends and new ones.
Our aim is to bring together local artists to showcase their work, and for members of the public and community to appreciate and share in the festival activities. The festival will include craft and art stalls in Brechfa Church Hall, food stalls and a tea & cake tent with entertainment in Victoria Community Park.
Various local community group will be selling refreshments to raise funds for ongoing projects in the area and your support is much appreciated. The Forest Arms, our local pub, will be serving their lunch menu and alcoholic beverages
A highlight of the festival will be the Open Studios (Arts Trail), an opportunity for people to visit local makers of willow work, ceramics, art, alpaca products, ironwork and book bindery to see them at work or take part, all within a few miles of Brechfa.

The Craft Hall and Open studios open from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday
