Olympic Object Handling and Sport Day

Sport and exercise are essential for a healthy lifestyle and this summer we are excited to get out in the sunshine to hop, skip and jump as much as we can.
During this sport themed day there will be some games for you to take part in outside and some special guests from Newcastle University Archaeology department.
They'll be bringing lots of objects for you to see and handle that come from Ancient Greece, where the very first Olympic Games happened over 2700 years ago.
