Our Story, Our City: Drama Summer School

Sampad and Birmingham Archives are teaming up for a unique Drama Summer School. Led by two theatre producers, we will make our own play about the people who came to Birmingham from the Caribbean, Africa, the Indian subcontinent and Ireland between 1945 and 1985. Our play will be inspired by some wonderful photographs of people taken during that time by a photographer called Ernest Dyche in his Balsall Heath studio.
