ChiBall with Karen Ongley-Snook
ChiBall™ method of exercises are designed to work with the Chinese Traditional Medicine meridians, in harmony with the seasons of the year.
The method is a blend of the following exercise systems:
Tai Chi and Qi Gong, to cleanse, rejuvenate and refresh the internal body by regulating the breath - the grounding.
ChiBall™ dance, to stimulate the metabolism and promote mobility and flexibility - the energising.
Yoga, to increase strength, balance and concentratrion - the strengthening.
Pilates, to develop core strength and stabilise the pelvis - the balancing
Feldenkrais Method, to help us rediscover the effortless movement patterns of childhood - the releasing.
Deep relaxation and meditation, to induce calmness of mind and body - the listening.
Karen, a ChiBall™ instructor for the past 20 years and currently the only instructor in West Sussex, runs a ChiBall™ class at the Hamblin Centre each Tuesday from 10-11am.
