Steampunk Steam Railway Day
Steampunk is back at the Middy.
Steampunk is a mixture of sci-fi/fantasy and Victorian fashion. Most steampunk cosplay is inspired by the steam power method used during the Victorian era – everything in the steampunk world is run on steam. It’s a lifestyle that might even prove difficult for a steampunk enthusiast to explain; it is easier to show than tell!
We we will be hosting a visit by a local Steampunk group in Steampunk/Victoria costume with Steampunk games. We are lucky enough to have live music again this year courtesy of Lady Rodaline Strate, youtube.com/c/LadyRodalineStrate
Coal shunting demonstration at Dovebrook on arrival of the 1pm train.
Plus all the Middy facilities will be open – tearoom, shop, museum, Kitchener Arms and picnic area and plenty of rides in our coaches.
Preserved locomotives and rolling stock are subject to availability.

Open from 10.30am through to 4.30 pm with train running every 30 minutes from 10.30 am through to 3.30pm or 4pm if demand requires.
