Salcombe Live Festival

The second Salcombe Live Festival will be held in venues across Salcombe Friday 1st October - Sunday 3rd October 2021. Over 40 live acts are confirmed including Bafta award-winning singer- songwriter Emily Barker, UK country singer-songwriter Katy Hurt, the dynamic London-based cultivator of ‘Epic Soul’ Jack Tyson- Charles and the one-man phenomenon and bundle of energy that is Funke & The Two-Tone Baby.

The festival also welcomes UK alt-folk duo Jacob & Drinkwater, founder of nationwide song-writing movement ‘Talent is Timeless’ Saskia Griffiths-Moore, and Exeter’s very own ‘poet of our time’ and all-round wall of sound that is Samantics. Saturday night’s comedy show at The Distillery Bar features Britain’s Got Talent finalist Nick Page amongst others.

Run by a Community Interest Company, all volunteers, who have been overwhelmed by the positive response received from local businesses and individuals through sponsorship, advertising and the recently launched ‘Friend of the Festival scheme’, the festival was initially created to attract locals and visitors to the town at a quieter weekend after the main holiday season.

Thanks to the generous support of Salcombe businesses, including the event’s main sponsor Salcombe Distilling Co. all events are free, with the exception of Sunday night’s headline show featuring Dartmoor-based husband and wife duo, Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman, twice winners of the coveted ‘Best Duo’ prize at BBC Radio 2’s Folk awards.

See for more details including full line-up and timings, venue and sponsor details, to become a ‘Friend of the Festival’ and to purchase last remaining tickets for the headline show at the Holy Trinity Church.
All events (with the exception of the headline show on Sunday) are FREE thanks to the generous support of sponsors and local businesses in Salcombe. To support the festival become a Friend of the Festival - see to find out more.
