Portrait of a Town

Heritage Open Day: Experience Berwick from the 1950s to early 2000s through 'Portrait of a Town' , a photographic exhibition depicting life and work there during that time. Visit the exhibition to see what Berwick was like in the past. The Photo Centre was a photographic business which operated in Berwick from 1951 to 2012. On its closure the collection (over a million glass plates and negatives) was purchased by the Berwick Record Office. It documents all aspects of life in Berwick
