Stone carving and family fun
Heritage Open Day: Watch skilled stonemasons from the Guild of St Stephen and St George at work and then, with their guidance, try carving for yourself if you wish. A family trail and craft activity for children (age range 5 to 12 years approx.) is also on offer. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about the craft of stone carving and how Bath Abbey is full of remarkable examples, much of which is around 500 years old.
