Heritage Open Day: This church is a building of exceptional historic importance, a very rare example of an Anglican church built in the Commonwealth period. When George Fenwick was Governor of Berwick in the 17th century, funds were raised to build the church using stone and timber from the disused Castle. It was completed in 1652.
