Heritage Open Day: Explore our Museum based in one of Bridport's oldest buildings!
Discover our unique rope and netting collection with working machinery, beautiful Roman jewellery and amazing fossils from the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site. Founded in 1932, Bridport Museum is housed in a building known as 'The Castle'. The facade of the building goes back to Tudor times. You can still see some original features such as a beautiful angel corbel upstairs.
