Brindley's Mill

Heritage Open Day: Brindley's Mill is a working water-powered corn mill, built by James Brindley in 1752. There is also a small museum about the life and times of James Brindley. The mill is located on the River Churnet in the attractive market town of Leek and will be working and grinding corn into flour the old fashioned way with millstones powered by a waterwheel. Guided tours are available for those who want this and there is also a small pleasant riverside garden.
